PPSU is a high-performance amorphous thermoplastic with excellent impact and chemical resistance. PPSU is capable of withstanding operating temperatures as high as 180°C. When evaluated in steam autoclave cycles, PPSU outperforms other amorphous thermoplastics in hydrolysis resistance and can endure repeated steam sterilization without limitation. It can also withstand exposure to common acids and alkalis across a broad temperature range. Notably, PPSU complies with US FDA food contact standards, allowing for repeated use in food-related applications.
