Description

PC PBT-FDM / PC PBT (polycarbonate/polybutylene terephthalate) is a thermoplastic alloy developed specifically for FDM/FFF 3D printing. It maintains strong thermal resistance and toughness even at low temperatures (-20℃/-30℃), and also offers good chemical resistance. Through physical blending, PC PBT combines the benefits of PC and PBT, with PC providing strength and impact resistance at room temperature, and PBT improving rigidity retention at high temperatures. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 45–65 MPa, a flexural modulus of 2000–3500 MPa, and improved wear resistance compared to conventional single-component materials. For thermal resistance, typical models offer a heat deflection temperature of over 120°C, making them ideal for use in high-temperature settings, including automotive engine compartments.
