Description
H62 is a brass-zinc alloy containing 60.5–63.5% brass. It has good mechanical properties and electrical conductivity. Although cost-effective, it is susceptible to dezincification corrosion, making it suitable mainly for general structural parts.
Key Features
1. Excellent plasticity (good cold and hot workability) 2. Relatively high strength (tensile strength ≥ 300 MPa) 3. Good electrical and thermal conductivity (about 30% of pure copper) 4. Resistant to atmospheric corrosion (but not resistant to dezincification or acidic media)
