Description
5052 is a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy containing 2.5% magnesium. It has higher strength than pure aluminum (tensile strength ≥ 210 MPa) and is resistant to seawater corrosion. It is non-heat-treatable and has excellent formability.
Key Features
1. Outstanding corrosion resistance (especially in marine environments)
2. Medium-high strength (yield strength ≥ 160 MPa in H32 temper)
3. Good weldability (strong weld joints)
4. Easy forming (ideal for complex sheet metal parts)
