Description
The MBJ process employs an array printhead to selectively jetting liquid binder onto pre-spread thin 316L powder layers. The powder is then bonded into shape and gradually accumulated layer by layer to form a 3D green body, which can then be rapidly transformed into a high performance component through post-processing such as infiltration and sintering. BJ aims to address the challenges of high costs and low efficiency that currently limit metal 3D printing
