Here’s a detailed instruction on how you can get a quote with price and lead time, modify your quotations and place orders.
How to Get an Instant Quote
You can obtain a quote by following a few simple steps:
Step 1：Go to Xometry.asia, click on “Get a Quote” at the top right-hand corner.
Step 2: upload your files (2-1). If it is a 3D CAD model file (2-2), you can get a quote automatically.If it is a 2D CAD model file(2-3), it will be sent for a manual quote (24 hrs). Xometry supports all major CAD file formats, and ensures all uploads are secure and confidential.
Step 3：Before getting an instant quote, you will be requested to to create an account.
Step 4：Then AI-generated instant quote engine will show you the quote in just a moment (4-1).
If you have both 3D files and 2D files,please upload the 3D files as the major files first, then upload the 2D files as Parts under the “Edit specifications” (4-2).
Modifying Quotes and Adding Manufacturing Options
Step 5： Make an initial selection of the required manufacturing process, material and parts quantity.If you want more details, we also have a 【guideline】 for your reference.
Step 6： We also offer options for additional requirement, such as surface roughness and part marking, etc. If you have any special or additional requirements, please put the detailed request in the remarks column, for our quotation and quality engineers to take note and reference of.
*For multiple uploaded models, please repeat the above process for each part to get an overall quote.
Step 7： If you need to provide a proofing document to your management or purchasing department, we also offer a PDF file of your quote for download.
Step 8： If your quote does not show up after uploading files, don’t worry, just click on “request manual quote” on the right-hand side.To minimize manual processing time, you will be requested to fill out a questionnaire.We will then arrange for an account manager or quotation engineer to contact you.
Step 9：If you have questions about the AI-generated instant quote and prefer to have a manual support, please contact your account manager via Messenger to apply for a manual quote（9-1）.
You may also find your account manager’s name, phone number and WeChat contact details here if you need（9-2).
We will inform you by email within 24 hours when the process is finished. On the order confirmation page, please carefully check the details. The order cannot be modified after proceeding to the next step.
Ordering Parts
Step 10：
Go through your order to confirm that everything is as it should be. When you are satisfied, click on the Proceed button to finalise the process (10-1).
Then, you will be required to choose the shipping terms, fill in the billing details and shipping addresses (10-2) . Xometry Asia provides DAP (Delivered at Place) & EXW (Ex Works) for APAC customers, and EXW for global experienced buyers.
Step 11：On the next payment page, please double check the relevant information. After verifying that everything is correct, complete the payment and then wait for the delivery.
